Dessert croissants with walnuts


The yeast is greased with sugar. Add water and flour, mix and leave to rise.

Heat the milk together with the sugar and butter.

The sifted flour is put in a bowl. Add the yeast, lemon peel, egg yolks, milk. Knead an elastic and non-sticky dough.

Cover the bowl with a napkin and let the dough rise until it doubles in volume!

Filling: Ground walnuts are homogenized with sugar, essence, cocoa, milk.

After the dough has risen, divide it into 4 parts.

Take one side, stretch it and cut it into 8 triangles. Place the filling at the base of the triangle and roll.

Do the same with the rest of the dough.

Grease the croissants with yolk and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Cakes with walnuts and chocolate

I wanted walnut croissants. Then with chocolate. But because we didn't decide, we made croissants with walnuts and chocolate.

  • 400 g flourƒ
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 ml bag
  • 300 g walnuts
  • 50 g cocoa
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 100 g grated chocolate
  • cinnamon
  • 1 or
  • salt

Method of preparation
1. For the dough, mix the flour with the butter, borscht and a pinch of salt. Knead a little and let it breathe for about an hour.

2. For the filling, pass the walnut through the mincer, then add the sugar (from which you stop two tablespoons) and the sifted cocoa.

3. Spread the dough on the work table and cut appropriately large triangles. Grease the entire surface with the walnut filling, sprinkle with chocolate and roll.

4. Place them in a tray lined with baking paper. Beat the egg with a spoonful of water and grease these croissants. Mix a teaspoon of cinnamon with the preserved sugar and sprinkle on the croissants.

5. Bake for 20-25 minutes and let the walnut and chocolate croissants cool on a grill.
